We attended and thoroughly enjoyed The PMI’s annual Great Debate which took place on October 19th, with the motion; The House Supports “The Phased Elimination of Private Care from Public Hospitals”. The debate was chaired by Broadcaster & Journalist Ivan Yates and the speakers on the day were GP Dr. Martin Daly, Chartered Accountant & Media Commentator Cormac Lucey, Simon Nugent CEO with Private Hospitals Association and Consultant Medical Oncologist, Professor John Crown.
