Job Title: Medical Consumables Account Manager

As a Medical Consumables Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and expanding our client base within the medical sector. You will be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.

Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, challenges, and goals.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests.

  • Regularly communicate with clients to assess satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the client base within the medical sector.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends.

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.

Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our medical consumables product line, including features, benefits, and applications.

  • Provide product demonstrations and training sessions to clients as needed.

  • Stay updated on industry developments and competitor products to effectively position our offerings in the market.

Order Management:

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing and delivery of client orders.

  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to address shortages or stock discrepancies.

  • Resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies in a prompt and professional manner.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.

  • Analyse sales data to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Use insights gained to develop strategies for optimizing sales and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Knowledge of medical consumables and familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
