Force Recruitment have partnered with one of the best wholesale building materials company who is currently on a look out for a Business Development Manager for their Ireland facility to sell medical device products to manufactures. The BDM will identify and develop sales strategies to uncover and win new opportunities (whether components or development) to new and existing customers in Ireland. The BDM will oversee the establishment of a new presence in Ireland, ensuring strategic implementation and successful market entry. The primary target customer categories include but not limited to Medical Device OEMs, Contract Manufacturers, Design Firms, Startup companies and other Components Manufacturers.

What you will be doing?

  • Manage assigned territory, region, product line or market to meet/exceed business objectives including gross sales and profitability with an emphasis on new customer and opportunity acquisition, and a profitable new opportunity revenue stream linked to the business strategy using a solutions-selling, disciplined sales process from initial research to lead generation through creation of and managing opportunities to the first purchase order.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities in Ireland and use market intelligence to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Update with the help of Commercial & Marketing Manager the marketing and commercial strategy for the Irish market

  • Sales Force opportunity timely entry, tracking, accuracy and diligence is essential throughout the sales process. Reporting on progress toward goals and objectives via various forms of communication including Sales Force, reporting, recurring business development meetings tracking our new business pipeline development.

  • Work closely with manufacturing operations team to provide new and existing business support on an as needed basis.
